I have been an avid birdwatcher, general naturalist, and nature photographer for nearly 40 years. During that time, I have led many field trips, given photo-illustrated lectures, and sold many images. In recent years, I have developed a new passion for photography, given the quality of digital imaging. I shoot with Canon digital slrs and Canon lenses. I have served on the Boards of many nature and birding organizations, including as a past-president of the Connecticut Ornithological Association, and am currently a member of the Avian Records Committee of CT. A retired Postal carrier, I now lead birdwatching tours (Costa Rica, Texas, New England) for Sunrise Birding, LLC (www.sunrisebirding.com).
